Disclaimer: As with all push on tumbler lids leave the small cap open when you push it on so as not to create pressure inside the tumbler then snap it down after the lid is on. If you fill your tumbler with HOT liquid and snap the lid closed pressure will build up inside and the lid may start to push out of the tumbler. This is perfectly normal.  In this case it may be best to leave the small cap open for a while.
