Owners Blog...Why am I doing this?

I believe in hard work, and the kind of conversation you can only have over a damn good cup of coffee (or the occasional whiskey).

So, why a blog? Because a website is just a storefront, but a brand...a real brand...is a story. And I think it’s time we talked.

Who’s at the Controls?

When you buy from us, you’re not feeding a corporate machine. You’re supporting a guy (and his family) who’s been a business owner long enough to know that your word is your currency. I’m a husband to a wife who keeps me grounded and a father to two high school boys who remind me every day why building a future matters.

When I’m not tending to business, I’m probably hunched over an HO-scale train layout. I’ve been a model railroader and a train enthusiast since I could walk. There’s a philosophy in trains...precision, power, and staying the course...that I bring to everything I do.

More Than Just Coffee

I’m also a patriot. I believe in this country and the communities that make it tick. That’s why I spend some of my "spare" time helping run nonprofits that actually move the needle for people who need it. To me, being an American means giving more than you take and I have been practicing what I preach for decades just ask my wife how many board meetings I have in a month it distracts her from counting the trains I have to see if there are any new ones on the shelf.

What to Expect Here

On this blog, I’m going to shoot straight with you...period!  I'll announce new products talk about why I like this coffee vs that one (yea I do have favorites) maybe even comment on what's going on in the world from time to time...ooh and I am gunna talk about trains cause trains are cool.
